Reynolds Aluminum (RMCX) 89 is a candidate for the "there's a prototype for everything" catagory; It's a former CNW SW1 (1274) with Blunt trucks, which are usually associated with AlCo S1/S2 type locomotives. The unit was reportedly acquired by the company in 1979; it's shown here on an SP spur during what appears to be a traction motor change. |
