Michael Palmieri General The other cars should be the 29700, 29701, and 29758. They were in regular service until late last year, and went into storage on the Ft. Worth & Western in September 2008. In October 2009 they moved to Seaboard Railcar in Hugo, OK to be cleaned; and here they are on their way to be scapped in Birmingham. There were 70 cars in this series (29700-29769), built by ACF in November and December 1968. One of their regular routes was between Beaumont, Texas and plants in NC and SC, so that is why they ran regularly on CSX 614 and 615. Other cars like this are being scrapped at Cartersville, GA. 11/20/2009 9:51:29 AM
