After learning that there wouldn't be anymore traffic on the DM&E we went over to Mankato to see if the UP was up to anything. Thankfully we saw an approach signal and minutes later this local was seen heading out onto the main. The 1440 was once a Southern Pacific unit, its nose light is a dead give away to that fact. |
