| UP 8444 leads UP Train ILADU 24 which is stopped at Hickory Street on the UP KC Metro Sub. This engine wears the number worn by the famous steam locomotive UP 844 from 6-1962 to 6-2-1989 while the number 844 was assigned to a GP30, the diesel has subsequently been retired and donated to a museum. |
