Every once in a while the BRC in South Chicago gets a string of old UP hoppers with some interesting heritage, like this Missouri Pacific Hopper. MP was absorbed by UP in 1982. This particular haooper is from the C&EI, split between MP and L&N in 1976. If you look at the 3rd panel fro the right you can see a faint C&EI logo. |
