The new Saratoga & North Creek Railway excursion train enters the Amtrak station at Saratoga Springs. This new operation on the former D&H Adirondack branch started operation July 2011, replacing the Upper Hudson River Railroad as designated operator of the Warren County owned line. The Alco switcher, acquired from the defunct UHRX, is used to help with the runaround move due to the lack of a runkround track at the station. |
