HOLLIDAY KS June 1975 -- Santa Fe U36C 8713 leans into a curve with a mixed freight in tow. Note green signal on right hand rails. We missed a flying meet by about five minutes. According to atsfrr.net this unit was built by General Electric in July 1972. It was rebuilt to U36Cu/SF30C 9502 in September 1985. It was retired in August 1995 and went to National Railway Equipment Co. |
