| In October 1982 I went to Chicago for a trade show. It started on Monday, and I had some time to spend over the weekend. One place I went was Homewood, south of the city, to check out the IC. This unit was in the middle on a three unit set leading a northbound train into the yard. Still in full GM&O ten years after the merger. |
