DB class 101 is a three-phase electric locomotives operated by DB Fernverkehr (long distance) in Germany. 145 units were built in late 1990. In the US, the ALP-46 locomotive is derived from the class 101. The Intercity from German town of Emden (North Sea coast) enters here the Farrenhalde tunnel near Saint Georgen. |
