This view looks east from the Maine Reduction yard. Brooks is about mile or so ahead around a several cuves. The mile marker on the right is '14B' The short bridge deck at center frame beside the whistle post passes over the aptly named: 'Underpass Road' The whistle post in the far distance at the entrance to a curve warns the train crew of the approaching Rt139 crossing another 900 or so feet ahead. /DL |
