This 1905 Alco-Brooks Atlantic-type locmotive was an E-1 class with very high stepping 79" drivers - great for speed. The loco could generate 190 psi boiler pressure for its 21"x26" cylinders,. The engine weight was a light 191,530 lb and its tractive effort was a modest 23,440 lb. |
