A proud engineer leans out the window of this shiny new Pacific built by Alco-Schenectady in 1917 and classified as an Erie K-2-A loco. On the back of the photo, the unknown photographer wrote "About 1915" but it wasn't built yet. The date would be closer to 1917-18 due to the spotless sheen on the loco. |
