Mike Woodruff	General	Not commuter coaches but parlor cars. This is one of the Montauk parlor car trains, likely the Cannon Ball. The location is Queens, and I want to say Rego Park, where the line crosses the Long Island Expressway. The missing track on the bridge would have been for the Ozone Park branch. Time frame would be 1965-1968 or so; the RS3s didn't get this paint scheme until the C420s were delivered in it in 1964.	6/21/2014 12:55:08 PM

LIRR RS3 #1554 Long Island RR
Built by Alco in August-September of 1955, these two 1600 hp road switchers are seen heading up a long string of parlor cars. The date is approximate. F.G. Zahn took this nice action photo. Thanks to Brian Woodruff for the additional info on location and date.
