UP 1470 a GP40M-2 was originally built as Missouri-Kansas-Texas #207 a GP40 in August 1968 and then was rebuilt and became SP #7100 on February 1991 sits in the Business Car Track at UP’s Settegast Yard.

Jacob Rajlich General This is actually ex-SSW GP40-2 7655. SP 7100 was supposed to become UP 1470, but that never happened. The dynamic brake arrangement of this unit gives it away...this unit has extended range DBs, the SP 7100 did not. 6/9/2015 7:43:15 PM
