Built in1909 by H.R. Porter builder #4390 for the Santa Cruz Portland Cement #2 used at Danvenport, CA until 1924. It was sold to Bechtel Kaiser Rock Co in Oroville, CA. No 2 was bought & sold six times in its 104 years it was first purchased. No. 2 spent 30 years as a billboard for a fried chicken restaurant in Stockton, CA affectioanately know "THE CHIGGEN". No. 2 was purchared by Northwest Railway Museum in 2006 totally restored were today No. 2 is back in service. |
