This Port Jefferson train has a pair of GP 38-2s rolling it west as it makes its stop at Mineola. There were a number of trains that ran with pairs of units, rather than just the one that powered most trains. Usually they were the heavier trains-some runs had 14 or 15 cars-and the parlor heavy Montauk trains. |
