WIL-ALT-65. Here is an original photo that I took during a trip on Pennsylvania Railroad passenger trains from Wilmington to Altoona during August of 1965. Shown here is PRR engine #4937, a GG-1 built in Juniata during March of 1943. It is pulling a northbound passenger train into the Wilmington Station on its way to Philadelphia and points North. This locomotive is preOently on exhibit at the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania in Strasburg, Pennsylvania. |
