A pair of UP units has todays 13T at the old DLW station as it waits for a new crew to go south on the CP. 13T was a good bet for off line power, sometimes not the top of the line stuff. This C40-8 and SD40-2 are now far from the top tier of road power on UP. Still, they are a welcome change to the onslaught of wide cab GEs that were taking over the country at the time. |
