Seaboard System GP40 6821 was sitting on an eastbound (timetable north) train at the former Louisville & Nashville GENTILLY YARD in New Orleans. The locomotive had been built as L&N 3025 in September 1967, and was subsequently CSX 6821. After it was retired by CSX Morrison-Knudsen remanufactured it as Virginia Railway Express GP39-2C V07 and later it moved west to become Utah Transit Authority 901. |
