Driving from the College World Series in Omaha back home to North Carolina, I took backroads from Bowling Green, Ky., to bypass Nashville. I wound up in Lebanon about 9:30 and saw a passenger terminal sign. Following signage — and almost running a stop light — I pulled up to the passenger station at 9:42 as Music City Star (MCS) train 155 arrived 27 minutes late. I'm told this engine belongs to the Nashville & Eastern and is on loan to the Middle Tennessee RTA while MCS engine 120 is being refurbished. |
