WWRR 0-6-0 no. 58 idles next to a privately owned ex. Union Pacific Caboose with the Hockessin Fireworks in the background. As a tradition, the crews of the Wilmington & Western Railroad run their steam powered "Fireworks Express" to the very end of the line in Hockessin, Delaware, aka Milepost 10.2. The actual train was dropped off a few hundred feet back so passengers riding the train could get a front row seat of the Hockessin Fireworks. |
