Close up of the massive face of a rugged survivor. Built originally as a 2-8-0 Consolidation for the Reading, it was rebuilt in 1945 as this massive 4-8-4 Northern type steam locomotive used for freight hauling. It dodged the scrapper's torch a few times and landed here on the Blue Mountain & Reading roster. Later it would shift onto the new Reading, Blue Mountain & Northern reorganized roster and eventually be rebuilt in 2020-21 for future service. Scott A Jenks slide.
