Arkansas & Missouri Alco T6 14 was switching the container yard at Graphic Packaging in West Monroe, Louisiana. The A&M’s subsidiary, A&M Switching Services, had the switching contract there. The locomotive had been built in September 1959 as Norfolk & Western 43 and was retired by the Norfolk Southern in November 1985. It went to the Maryland & Delaware as the 14 before being acquired by the A&M. |
