| The Adirondack Railroad ran their very first public excursion to Tupper Lake, NY on Sunday October 16, 2022. This was the first time in almost 42 years that a regular scheduled passenger train went to Tupper Lake, NY. I rode on the train as a passenger with several other members of the Central New York Chapter N.R.H.S. and Adirondack Railroad. Many of these members I havent seen in months and years. We got on the train at Utica, NY and left just after 8:30AM. Arrival at Tupper Lake was just before 1PM. |
