This good looking steam locomotive was built by Baldwin in August of 1903 as CM&StP Vauclain compound 4-6-0 #424. During its nearly 51 years of service, it had masy numbers - renumbered in 4/1907 to #1774, renumbered in 9/1912 to #4374, renumbered and simplified in 7/1915 to #2924, renumbered in 12/1920 to #2882, renumbered in 6/1938 to #1065. The loco was scrapped in December of 1954. No photographer was listed and no exact day in April of 1954 was listed.. |
