Green Mountain RR Alco RS1 #401 was caught in a freight haul by rail fan Hildreth near Ludlow, VT. The loco was built by Alco in March of 1950 originally as ITC #756.

Tom Beckett General Cool shot. Amazing these units are still soldiering on, almost 75 years after the left Schenectady. This line is operated by the Vewrmont Railway now. I think it also hosts passenger trips duiring the summer and fall foliage seasons. 2/18/2024 4:54:56 AM
