| This car was originally built by Pullman-Standard as a lightweight 48 seat leg rest coach in the Great Northern "Big Sky Blue" paint scheme. It was later rebuit into a 108 seat commuter coach for the Central RR of New Jersey as their commuter car CNJ 105. Somehow it ended up at the Minnesota Transportation Museum and rebuilt as a Great Northern parlor car in the orange and green paint scheme. Its correct reporting mark is actually MNTX 1215 to reflect the Minnesota Transportation Museum ownership. |
